Graduating is one of the biggest milestones in a teens life. We couldn’t be more proud of these two, especially doing all of this during a pandemic. Their continued dedication and commitment to serve the citizens of Calvert County is appreciated.

The accident involving one vehicle overturned occurred at Old Town and Hunting Creek Road. PFVFD assisted Huntingtown Volunteer Fire Department’s Squad 6 with the extrication.
Chris Murphy, the man who was rescued, “I want to thank all of the first responders that came to my aid. You guys rock. My ambulance team was awesome.”
The crew from Tower 2 opened up the home and completed searches. The cause is under investigation.
Engine 22 supplied the fire ground and assisted with extinguishment, the crew from Tower 2 assisted with ladders and opening up the home.
Engine 22, Tower 2 Assistant Chief 2-A were all on location where crews operated for a few hours to get the fire under control and perform overhaul.
Michael Robert Sharpe made his entry into this world on May 11, 2021 at 3:54 p.m. The little guy weighs 7 pounds 9 oz. and is 20 inches long.
