The Prince Frederick Volunteer Fire Department has partnered with Stoney’s of Prince Frederick to do a “Queen of Hearts Raffle” as a fundraiser for our department. The is a weekly progressive raffle where the pot grows until there is a winner. PFVFD personnel will be at Stoney’s Wednesday thru Friday from 5 pm to 8 pm selling raffle tickets. Tickets can also be purchased from the bartenders during regular business hours. Drawings will take place at Stoney’s each Wednesday at 7 pm.

We hope you will stop into Stoney’s as this is a great opportunity to support our local business and your local volunteers.

Queen of Hearts Raffle Rules
• Tickets are $5 each (cash only) sold at Stoney’s Restaurant during regular business. Ticket may also be sold at the firehouse during certain times.
• You must write your name and phone number on the back of the ticket, along with the number of the card that you want revealed.
• There is no limit on the number of tickets that you can purchase. Anyone 18 years or over can purchase tickets.
• There will only be one ticket pulled each Wednesday. If your ticket is pulled, you are present, and the card you select is the Queen of Hearts, you will win 60% of the progressive jackpot. If your ticket is pulled, you are not present, and the card you select is the Queen of Hearts, you will win 50% of the progressive jackpot. If the card you select is a joker, you will win $50.00. If none of the above apply, you win $10.
• All tickets will be destroyed at the end of the drawing each week and the pot will roll over to the next week.
• The pot amount splits as follows:
o If the Queen of Heats Raffle winner is present at the drawing:
 Winner = 60%
 PFVFD = 30%
 Pot Rollover = 10%
o If the Queen of Heats Raffle winner is not present at the drawing:
 Winner = 50%
 PFVFD = 30%
 Pot Rollover = 20%
• Winners of $600 or more must pay income tax on the prize money. Both residents and nonresidents of Maryland are subject to Maryland income tax on their winnings.
• PFVFD reserves the right to modify the rules at any time throughout the game
