Currently we are preparing for our awards banquet (mid-month) and the last weekend of February, we will begin the tedious process of cleaning out our station.

As for the “Super Saturday” training, this year was held on February 3, 2018. You can see in our photos the event was chocked full with members attending classes and getting re-certified in various areas.

 Some of the courses and activities this year included:

• CPR/AED re-certification
• EEO re-certification
• Blood Borne Pathogen training
• Accident Safety Review course
• SCBA refresher
• Review of our SOP’s
•  SCBA refresher
• Update on our new building construction
• Gear inspection and fitting
• Review of all personnel files to make sure documents are up-to-date

PFVFD provided lunch to all participants. The leadership would like to thank the members who were able to attend along with Sterling Myers for donating his morning to our CPR training.
