Overnight, Company 2 was dispatched to a working house fire in Prince Frederick, Md.

At 2:39 a.m. multiple crews, including Chief-2, Engine 21, Engine 22, Tower 2, Squad 2 and Tanker 2, responded to the 3100 block of Whispering Lane.

Engine 21 was the first on location and reported heavy fire from the front of a single family home.

Chief 2 (Gray) arrived and established command at the scene.

Crews from Prince Frederick (Company 2), St. Leonard (Company 7), Huntingtown (Company 6), Solomons (Company 3) Dunkirk (Company 5), Mechanicsville VFD and Hollywood VFD, worked through the night opening the walls and extinguishing hotspot areas inside.

No injuries were reported. The Office of the Maryland State Fire Marshal is investigating.
