On Thursday, November 22, 2018, Engine 21 and Tanker 2 were alerted to the working house fire in the Solomons area.

According to the initial dispatch a single-family home was on fire, smoke and flames were visible. No one was trapped and it was believed at the time the fire began in the kitchen area.

When the crew from Engine 21 arrived on the scene, they stretched an attack line off the fire truck and into the home. They also hooked up to a hydrant to help supply water to the engine.

Prince Frederick volunteers assisted the crews on the scene with putting out hot spots inside the home.
