On July 12, 2021, just before 7 p.m. Engine 21, Tower 2, Tanker 2, Squad 2 and Chief 2-B responded to a house in Dares Beach for a reported shed fire with extension into a Prince Frederick home.

Crews found two sheds built closely to one another, both fully engulfed in flames. Crews worked quickly to extinguish the fire and to ensure no further damage was caused to nearby homes.

Huntingtown Volunteer Fire Department assisted with overhaul. St. Leonard Volunteer Fire Department and Prince Frederick Volunteer Rescue Squad CO. 4 also assisted with the call.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
