Congratulations to PFVFD’s most recent graduates, Kaden Boggs and Nicholas “Nick” Boswell.

Kaden specialized in the welding program at Calvert Career Technology Academy (CTA), and Nick focused his efforts on the Firefighter / EMT program.

Kaden’s mom Denise Boggs said, “I can’t say enough about the programs at CTA, it definitely allowed for each of my boys to build a strong foundation to start in the workforce. Their ability to get these boys to engage and have such a desire to excel and perfect their skills in welding is such a gift.”

Denise added, “We definitely can’t wait to see where life takes Kaden. He’s got a lot of tools in his tool box and he isn’t afraid to use them!!! His drive and work ethic is amazing and his quick wit is just an added bonus.”

Nick was awarded Senior Cadet of the Year from CTA. He also recently placed first in the state of Maryland for the annual SkillsUSA competition and will compete in Nationals in Georgia next week (Good Luck Nick!).

In March 2023, Crystal Boswell said, “I am just so proud to be his mom! All of his accomplishments over the past few years are beyond anything I could have imagined for him.”
