On Tuesday, May 3, 2022, Past Prince Frederick Volunteer Fire Chief Timothy Delehanty was presented with the prestigious Leslie B. Thompson Memorial award. This year Delehanty also celebrates 50 years of responding to emergencies and helping citizens in the state of Maryland.

Congratulations to PFVFD’s Laney Wells for receiving a scholarship from the Ladies Auxiliary of the Southern Maryland Volunteer Firemen’s Association.

Junior Firefighter Nick Boswell completed a number of drills including throwing a 14-foot ladder, hose and dummy drag, completing a CPAT by running up stairs and finishing a written exam.

Chief Gray is leading our department for 2022 and he’s also a Lieutenant with the Alexandria Fire Department in Virginia.

It’s been an incredible three years! We would like to thank outgoing Fire Chief Joseph Della-Camera for his dedication to our organization.

Cadet Laney Wells is recognized through the CTA Calvert County school system for not only excelling in the classroom each week, but assisting during an emergency incident.

PFVFD would like to congratulate Chief Timothy Delehanty on all of his tremendous accomplishments over the years. His dedication and passion to the fire service is inspiring and we are grateful for his contributions.
