14, 2009 - At 1627 hours, Tower 2 was alerted to Local Box
2-10 to assist PD with ventilation. As the Tower responded
to the 800 block of Yardley Drive, additional information of
an active gas leak in a house was relayed, prompting Sgt 2
to ask the HazMat assignment. Tower 2 arrived on side Alpha
of a one story single family finding the same. Company 2
firefighters shut the gas off and entered the residence
finding an unconscious male, quickly removing the subject.
Firefighters began patient care and eventually turned the
subject over to arriving EMS. The patient was transported to
CMH for further evaluation. The Box was held to Company 2
units.
