2-4-07 At 1905 hours, the Prince Frederick
Volunteers and surrounding departments were alerted to Box
7-09 for a chimney. Engine 21(Lt Sewell), Tower 2(DFC Howes)
and Tanker 2(CE Holzberger) responded to the 600 block of
Chipping Wood Drive in Port Republic. Engine 7 arrived on side
Alpha of a two story single family with smoke showing. Engine
21 and Tower 2 arrived, assisted Company 7 units and laddered
the roof . The fire was quickly extinguished with bombs and an
ABC extinguisher. Company 2 units cleared in 30 minutes.
