9, 2008 - The St Leonard Volunteers and surrounding units
were alerted to Box 7-02 for a house. Engine 22 (Sgt. T.
Braswell) & Squad 2 (2C Della-Camera) responded to the
8200 block of Ebtide Drive. Safety 2 (Hassler) arrived on
scene and reported smoke and fire from side Charlie. Eng. 22
arrived on the scene, picked up and supplied Eng. 71’s
line. Squad 2 arrived on the scene and provided lighting.
Both units assisted with primary search, salvage and smoke
removal. The fire was contained to the rear porch with minor
extension to the interior. Units cleared after approximately
one hour.
